This Place is a state-of-mind.  Like California. Like the West Coast, the Handsome Coast. Like Oakland or San Francisco. Like Downy, Double Rocks, Lower Bottoms, Bel Air, the Bible Belt, Hollywood, Silicon Valley, or Skid Row. This Place is a compass for human cartography, for locating those islands and archipelagos of personal geography formed at the fault-lines of identity and circumstance.

So take us there. To the highroads, the backwoods. To the infinite horizon. We want to survey your histories, memories, manifestos, maps, pictures, poems, packing lists, playlists, essays, calls-to-action, vision quests, eviction notices, collages, whatever can be published on the super-highway and tell us where they came from and how to get there.
